The opal in this gorgeous necklace has a slight translucency allowing you to see the pattern of swirling pastel colours within the domed body of the gemstone. As with most opals it is a gem that reveals different colours as you view it from different angles. This intriguing gemstone seems at first soft blues, then can suddenly change almost entirely pink then blending into peaches and orange with the occasion electric blue or green flash. Cut en cabochon with a generous dome, it measures approximately 12mm x 10mm and has a carat weight of 2.90ct.

The opal has a sparkling halo of micro-grain set round brilliant cut diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.58ct. The pendant and chain are crafted from modern 18ct white gold, with the chain studded with bezel set diamonds adding a little extra touch of glamour to the necklace.

The chain has a durable trigger clasp and is 18 inches long, with an adjuster loop at the 16 mark so you can choose your preferred length.
