This vintage fob is beautifully crafted from yellow gold. The round seal reveals a smooth bloodstone of dark green with red flecks.

Fob jewellery would have originally been a decorative element to a gentlemans pocket watch and chain. The idea of a stone set seal, dates back to ancient times, and would have been engraved with a monogram for sealing the wax on important documents.

This pre-owned fob has a twisted S-shape loop at the top, which tests as 9ct rose gold. The fob has a yellow gold colour and tests as higher carat then 9ct, around 14ct. The fob is perfect for wearing on a chain as a pendant or small enough to add to a vintage inspired charm bracelet . It measures 28mm x 12mm and has been expertly polished to recondition the gold.
